Job Title: Sales Manager (Head of Admissions)

As Sales Manager (head of Admissions) with Portobello Institute, the purpose of your role is to lead our admissions team. You will be responsible for mentoring and motivating them to achieve their targets and continuing to build the team. The focus is to drive business growth to new and existing audiences.
Your role and that of your team’s is to enrol the right student on the right course – this will require you to understand who our students are and why they should choose Portobello Institute. You will be a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment during seasonal highs and uses the seasonal lows to strategically plan for future growth. You should enjoy analysing trends to find the opportunities or advise a change of strategy in our markets.
You are comfortable engaging multiple stakeholders to generate and evaluate ideas that will contribute to our growth strategy. You are keen to understand education as a business, contributing innovative ideas aligned to our brand values, solidifying our position as the educator of choice within our sector.
You will work closely with our MarketingTeam to maximise the market opportunities.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced sales manager to build and manage our admissions team and contribute to our growth strategy. You will build a strong team, developing others and inspiring commitment to high-performance and excellence. You will support our admissions team with your strong understanding of sales and the sales process as it relates to student recruitment. This role requires you to have a high level of interpersonal skills, be financially literate with a strategic mindset, attention to detail and project management skills. You need to be able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders varying from industry partners to our programme management teams and the senior leadership of Portobello Institute.
Responsibilities:
Building and managing the admissions team with a high-performance ethos, mentoring and supporting them to stretch to achieve growth targets by building confidence and a “can-do” atmosphere.
Support the senior leadership team with the strategic development and expansion of Portobello Institute, by working cross-functionally to gather information and insights on trends happening within our sectors. Link information and insights to offer informed guidance of market opportunities.
Report using evidence and data to analyse performance, give an understanding of knowns and unknowns to balance risk and protect value creation.
Collaborate with the digital content team on the marketing of programmes to maximise awareness and sales, providing and contributing to analysis afterwards.

Recommended to have:
Sales experience
Sales management experience for 4+ years a must.
High proficiency with Hubspot and Excel.
Experience working with senior management to strategically develop a business preferred.
Understanding of building high-performing teams.
Financial literacy

Salary: €75,000.00 to €85,000 per annum depending on experience
